Hello members,

It is very important you know how instrumental each and every one of you have been in helping to reshape and brighten the future of hunting in Wisconsin. For years you have backed us in the fight to preserve the future of hunting in this state. It has been a tough, uphill battle much of the way, but we have never given up. Now, with a new administration and a new secretary of the DNR who truly has the best interest of us hunters as top priority, we are finally looking toward a future we have all been dreaming of. Some of our recent accomplishments are:

**End of earn-a-buck outside CWD zones
**Stewardship land and our right to access them
**Shooting range protection
** Redirecting Pittman Robertson funds ($4 million) to be spent on its intentional use. "promoting hunting and shooting sports"

This is just the beginning! There are many more rights and freedoms we are fighting to gain and protect for you. The following is a list of top priorities.

**Dear hunting heritage bill (which will end earn-a-buck and Oct. T-zones state wide except for disease control only by emergency rule)
**Concealed carry
**The Bear bill (providing more hunting opportunities)
**Rule simplification
**Ease of gun case laws
**Delisting of wolves
**The pursuit of a CWD vaccine instead of a ridiculous eradication solution

None of this could have been accomplished without YOU! And for that we thank you.
Now the time is here for another fun and exciting fundraising opportunity so that we may continue the great success we are having. Please join us Thursday May 12th at the Country Springs water park in Pewaukee for our 12 annual banquet. As always, we will have awesome prizes, raffles and plenty of fun! Please try to register early, seats are limited.

This is not a time to be complacent! We must continue to push for fair and logical rules with a management structure that aims to brighten the future of hunting in Wisconsin.

Thank you,
Chris Caliendo
